On 7 May 2026, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) released a call for submissions on Proposal P1067 – Health Star Rating system. The Proposal considers amending the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to require foods for sale in Australia and New Zealand to display a Health Star Rating symbol.
