The Health Star Rating Advisory Committee has recently developed new guidance on the use of the Health Star Rating system for benchmarking and international purposes. While the HSR system was designed as a front-of-pack nutrition labelling system for Australia and New Zealand, we are aware that it has been adopted for use in various other ways. The new guidance aims to assist organisations and companies who wish to use the HSR system outside of its intended purpose, by providing some recommended principles to follow.
The guidance can be downloaded from the HSR website here. If you have any questions relating to the guidance, please contact the HSR Unit here.
